We always have to remind ourselves that Jesus is with us no matter how dismal the situation that comes our way. He is always beside us, behind us and inside us. He will never leave us. We need to let Him comfort us.

Continuously communicate with Him and tell Him how you feel. Trust in His perfect and everlasting love for you. Pray unceasingly. Let His Holy Spirit fill you. Feel the healing power of Jesus. Even on the coldest of days our hearts are kindled by the fire of His love for us. Ooh… It’s getting warm in here!

Rest well my friend

We’ll sit by the fire
Come with me friend
By the banks of the river
At Lampreys low bend

I’ll cook you a kettle
Of the finest fish
We’ll eat of some brown trout
From copper dish

A smidge of bread n butter
Drinks from paper glass
Not a care in This world
On a wee bed of grass

Mongst pillows of Brie
Nobodies bickering

Quietly, I walk away
Although I am no coward
I sleep in peace, beyond all fear

I’m not just chasing rainbow sun
When I say I love someone
I cannot change, on loving people
It’s as real as rain on steeples

Beading up on bended ivy
Climbing high and hanging free
I see my Fathers’ mirrored view
Echo trills, that sound of Thee

The happiness of letting go
Sweet, the song, rolls on and on

In stillness, giving up my treasures
All to Jesus, weight and measure
