The Oldest Wooden Tree

If your feeling tuckered out
Lonely and quite blue
Be apprised of this fact dear one
Jesus wholly loves you
There’s a coat rack in the hall
Strong and tall and empty
Longing to hold your hat
Come one, and come all
Chorus
Hang all of your troubles, on the oldest wooden tree
Take a load off of all your weary bones …
There’s plenty of room upon the oldest wooden tree
Plenty of room on His settee
Hang your hat, breathe in …
Drop your troubles there
The coat rack waits quietly
For all your heavy cares
Close your weary eyes
The whole weight disappears
Upon the oldest wooden tree
Release to Jesus, all your fears
Hang all of your troubles, on the oldest wooden tree
Take a load off of all your weary bones …
There’s plenty of room upon the oldest wooden tree
Plenty of room on His settee

The Peace of God

Just thinkin, while drinkin my coffee today. Thankin God. Lovin this thought. When stresses suddenly creep into your day; My mother used to say,
“What’s God trying to teach you in this?”
Put it all into the Lords hands … and have peace. He’ll work it all out.
She also used to say, Nothins worth a nervous breakdown! 😁
“And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4-7
Have a super day dear friend

Lord We Need Your Help

“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit; than he that taketh a city.”
Proverbs 16:32
Gods’ grace friend, is greater than all the stresses that come our way, and greater than all of the mistakes we make when we miss the mark in dealing with them. God loves us, and he wants us to honor and obey him. I am so thankful that God gives me His grace.
Friend, even though we are imperfect and do things wrong, Jesus loves us. Just the same. God teaches those whom He loves. Along with that; He gives us discipline, to bring us back in line with His perfect will. It Is because He loves us; that He disciplines us. We can feel glad when we are being taught. He is patiently waiting in line for us to call upon Him for help. He wants us to be receptive to His way; to live the way He wants us to live (filled with His everlasting peace love and happiness).
“Thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind.” Matthew 22:37
His arms are always wide open for us like a fluffy blanket. He let’s us know the warmth of His love. He sees us as white as snow. What a wonderful thing it is that we can trust our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for everything. Jesus who took all of our sins upon himself and loved us all the way to the cross.
How wonderful it is to be filled with His unwavering perfect love. His way and not our own. Lord help us to obey you in every situation; and to display Your love and Your grace; one to another always. This kind of attitude requires the steadfast diligence of praying without ceasing ; and going straight to the word of God; relying on the Holy Spirit to reveal His word. When you call upon Jesus name, you will feel His peace and know His still small voice.
This is what I want for Christmas; the fruits of the Holy Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. They’re ours, just for the asking. A simple prayer. That sounds like this to me.
“Jesus I need You”
At this time of year, things can be even more stressful than normal. Reach out and touch someone with His grace today. Let us put Gods eyes, ears and heart on, full of His mercy. With His benevolence and extravagant grace strewn in the path of every weary traveler that we see along the way.
We all need The Savior and His abundant love. Thank you for each moment of this joyous Season.
Have a great and grace-filled day friend,
You are so loved

Reflections on Christmas

Merry Christmas family and friends,
It’s Christmas! Lots of cookin and it’s teally great to warm up the house from the cold. Our hearts are so warm by the birth of our Savior; who was destined to die for our redemption. It’s a time of giving. God gave to us His only Son; so that we would not perish but have everlasting life through Him. He came to save us from our sins. A humble birth, yet the most important birth ever!
Jesus was born in a lowly stable for there was no room at any of the inns. God came to Mary and Joseph and told them that Mary would bear The Savior Jesus; conceived in, and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Mary sang a song of glorification to God. Her Spirit rejoiced in God. She was humble.
By the proclamation of Christ’s birth, (The one who came to take away the sins of the world; people are hearing His voice from near and far being touched by Him; falling on their knees and being healed; as they Kneel to our Gracious King Jesus. Wise men and women still seek Him; our Glorious Savior.
The Shepard’s in their humble states heard the Angels singing glory to God in the highest, peace on earth and goodwill toward men. They left their sheep to find the baby Jesus in humble obedience.
His Voice is calling us. We open our hearts to the one who came just to save us. “Jesus.”
His tiny stable has a big space for all of mankind. That stirring, is your heart opening up for the Savior to come in and give to you eternal life with Him.
Oh the Mighty deeds that God has done. He lived his Life to die for you and He lives in your heart each day. He Fills the Hungry soul with good things. On this Christmas Day, won’t you let Him in your heart
Each new day, we pray to be humble so that we can hear His tender voice. Lord Jesus, I give you the space, in every
corner of my heart. I feel Your healing salve, my wonderful mighty God, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of peace My Savior.
Merry Christmas friend. Love and warmth this , Christmas season and always. K

Echoes of God’s Love

In God’s window of my dreams
There’s sunshine in the store
All the little dolphins dancing
Shining through the door
Love resounding in my heart
God’s glory in the gates
I am surely satisfied
As I live and wait
Old familiar whistle calls
Heard from distant shores
Echoes beat from loyal chums
With kettle drums galore
Love resounding in my heart
God’s glory in the gates
I am surely satisfied
As I live and wait

I’m Safe Tonight

Whoever is reading this
I hope you know
How much you are loved
Sounds are softly hushing down
Stars so brightly light my bed
Hanging with the moon so full
Safely draped above my head
All held together by God’s hand
As woven blues of warmest wool
Lay softly down and tuck me in
The time has come, to slow the pace
I pray in silence to my Lord
Thankful for His love and grace
His heart in mine . . .
My resting place

Snow Light

Not a branch without frosting
On a Tree chiffon white
The whole world’s redemption
Came into the light
In a wonderland rich
With deep brumal snow
Covered and protected
Tucked into the fold
Standing strong and so tall
Feeling each floating flake
Of pure satisfaction
Each soul doth awake
Hearing God’s gentle voice
So simple and plain
Like the first glistening snow
Upon loves’ winter glades
A babe in the manger
The Savior is born
A gift to the world
In the humblest form

Have wonderful day friend
Through Jesus you are white as snow
For Jesus is the perfect (white as snow) lamb
Who took away the sins of the world
