Grounded

Always feel so “grounded” with good cup of coffee:
And a verse for the day
To soothe the soul and pray
God keep all my friends and family safe today
“He will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee”
Because He careth for thee

Praying for Friends Near and Far

I think it is important to pray for friends near and far. Perhaps they’re over the shoulder; a few steps back or in our rear view; yet they are still tucked away safely, inside our hearts. Where the silver stays; and stillness remains. For it is there; the guttural. Coming up from the throat, the hearts deep trill. I have not forgotten the good things; and I never will k

Aaron and Melissa Wedding Rehersal

Dec 19th, 2013
In Danvers Massachusetts at the Turner Hill Mansion tonight.
Not only did My Son Aarons rehearsal go very well; the Dinner was fabulous for all and very satisfying. Everyone was very kind and accommodating at the Mansion. The countryside antique oil paintings and portraits were an exquisite sight as well as the ornate woodwork and antique Hand carved furnishings. All impeccably complimentary to t…he Decor of the Christmas theme. Reverently interesting was the illustrious History of the massive Home, as it was acquired for a time by the Catholic Church and then adapted for Public use.
The dinner was held at the Turner House; chosen for it’s warmth and Ambiance. It was such a delight to the senses. The candle light and candelabras along with beautifully carved high ceilings were amazing. Grandma Moses style paintings dotted the walls of the circa 1640 Homestead. The food and fanfare was delightful as well as delicious. Now it’s time to relax till the wedding day.

Tomorrow My Son Aaron and his Princess Melissa will be united in Holy Matrimony. They will come together in the sight of the Lord in sweet Holy communion; Their lives brought together in oneness with the Father. Bless their lives together with awesome joy and wonder Lord as they bow to You and bring Glory to Your Name.
Father we thank You, Amen

Kind Words

Don’t forget your kind words as you stroll along your work day. For they are sweet to the soul and healthy for the body!

I Still Miss Someone

I wish that we could rest awhile
Away from all the rules
That say that it’s impossible
For I know that it’s not true
I wish that we could sit awhile
And have a cup of tea
And laugh again and touch the sun
I still miss someone
Stronger as each day goes by
One Tear escapes my eye
My heart and mind
Can hold the rest
In the pureness of the sky k

White as Snow

We’re as white as snow because of You Lord

Be warm in His Love

A wish and a prayer
And a lullaby tonight
Be warm in His love,
Safe till morning light

Thoughts from the Holidays

I love wakin up to a surprise dusting of snowflakes covering the deck.
Unnumerable, like a myriad of stars. So pretty!
Very thankful for another day to live and breathe. Each new morning, His grace to us is bequeathed.
Got wood for the fire.
Glory to God. Life is so precious!
The Holidays have come. The trees are still decorated with red and white candy canes, that symbolize Christ, and what He did for all of mankind on the Cross. Hallelujah.
The Holly was hung! The wonderful aroma of turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy persists. Sweet homemade gingerbread that was baked; and mine ‘ll have loads of real whipped cream on top! I Aways get some on my nose and everyone starts giggling. Ah … Such a merry time.
But for some, young and old, hearts are heavy for reasons too deep for us to know. As God puts it on your heart, check in on a neighbor or on someone sitting alone in a restaurant. You just might be their angel unawares.
As we bow our heads at night, and kiss our children goodnight or pray for our adult children who are on their own now, we can also pray for those who are hurting and less fortunate than us. We are gently reminded to do what we can do, to spread the love, peace and goodwill of Jesus, in our own special way.
For those hurting dearest Lord, We pray for them, a special dose of your love and kindness and mercy.

Shining His light and love; easing the strain in this hustle bustle world
Have a great day beloved k

For by Grace

For it is by Grace that you have been saved Ephesians 2:8

Thank you Lord for your Grace. It is such a relief to rest in the fact that we don’t have to earn Your friendship love or appreciation. Your love is a free gift; Unlike the pressures of working for acceptance in the world. We can count on You and Your love forever, regardless of performance. Help us to emit Your unconditional love to others in the way that You love us.

You are so loved my friend k
