Tears were flowing down her face
She could hardly swallow
Way down deep, within her being
She called out to the Lord
She was to follow
Her eyes were as the Jordan
That flowed through Heavens Kingdom
-
The ebb and flow
Was not too much, and not too little
It was just right
-
She tiptoed past the bedroom hall
Held on to the post
Upon the stairwell
Listened to well rosined strings
Play it one more time
"Ashoken farewell"
Soothing to her ears
For yesterday and yester year
-
The ebb and flow
Was not too much, and not too little
It was just right
-
Are the children in?
She whispered to me
Upon my shoulder, she laid her head
Upon the bed, Jesus and the angels said,
"Come with Me"
"I know your name"
"You're coming home"
-
The ebb and flow
Was not to much, and not too little
It was just right . . .
Not too much, and not too little
It was just right
-
