Forbearance Loves
The closest and most gleeful pair
Will meet unrest at times …
Empathize, regroup, and share
To see, the other side

A dose perhaps, of discipline
Let not the pity ride
Feel and prize the mirrored heart
Love’s gift, the Lord provides
–
Take a breath without a word
Oh humble servants learn
But for the grace of God we go
For wisdoms’ lesson, yearn
–
Forbearance loves and loves some more
Long suffering outweighs pride
In meekness lowly hearts survive
Holy Spirit in us rise
