Morning Bells

Morning Bells

If you can look in my eyes

And honestly say

You never knew me

I could fade away

Something inside

Rings in the midnight silence

Telling me you’re still in the wings

That’s why my heart still sings for you

When a story begins how sad it is

When story begins but it has no end…

Chorus

What does it take

For the coral to change color

Suspending it so freely in mid air

With leaves to protect it, while it softly lingers there

To someday… float back home again

Amidst all the clutter and confusion

Do you feel any emptiness?

There is a voice you will hear

When deep calls unto deep

His cleansing waters can bring you back to the shore

And who made you stumble

And falter in the way

Have bitterness and clamor in the heart

Made a place stay…

Morning bells want to ring

In our hearts today

Chorus

What does it take

For a coral to change color

Suspending it so freely in mid air

With leaves to protect it, while it softly lingers there

To someday… float back home again

Morning bells want to ring

In our hearts today 3x
