Reflections on Christmas

It’s Christmas! The wood stove is loaded and it’s started to warm up the house from the bitter cold winds. But our hearts are warm this Christmas Morn by the birth of our Savior; who was destined to die for our redemption. It’s a time of giving; just as God gave to us His only Son; so that we would not perish but have everlasting life through Him.
What a call we have to be humble. Jesus was born in a humble stable for there was no room at any of the inns. God came to Mary and Joseph and told them that Mary would bear the Savior Jesus, conceived in and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Mary sang a song of glorification to God. Her Spirit rejoiced in God. She was humble. By His birth, people are hearing His voice from near and far being touched and humbled, falling on their knees and being healed as they Kneel to our Gracious King Jesus. Wise men and women still seek Him; our Glorious Savior.
The Shepard’s in their humble states heard the Angels singing glory to God in the highest, peace on earth and goodwill toward men. They left their sheep to find the baby Jesus in humble obedience. His Voice is calling us. All we have to do is open our hearts to the one who came just to save us. Jesus. His tiny stable has a big space for you and all of mankind. That stirring in your heart is your heart opening up for the Savior to come in.
Oh the Mighty deeds that God has done. He lived his Life to die for you and He lives in your heart each day. He Fills the Hungry soul with good things. On this Christmas Day, won’t you let Him in your heart
Each new day, we pray to be humble so that we can hear His tender voice. Lord Jesus, I give you the space, in every
corner of my heart. I feel Your healing salve, my Savior.
Merry Christmas friend. Love and warmth this Christmas season and always. K
